Achievement: First solo flight. Dave lives near Ogden, where he helps farm over 7,000 acres. He is a natural when it comes to operating machinery.
Galen Adams

Achievement: First solo flight. Galen is from Nevada, IA and is working on his Private Pilot's license.
Mike Vogt
Date: December 18, 2009
Aircraft: 7AC Aeronca Champ
Achievement: Earned Sport Pilot License. He is shown here with Designated Pilot Examiner Lowell Weir, and Connie. Congratulations!
Don Shearer

Achievement: Completed biennial flight review and annual inspection of his 1946 Champ. Don is back in the cockpit, after not having flown since April 2003. Previously, Don earned his license at CY Aviation. He lives near Luther.
Mike Vogt

Achievement: First solo flight. Mike is aiming for a Sport Pilot's license. When not flying, Mike is curator of the Iowa Gold Star Military Museum at Camp Dodge.
Allen Darrow

Achievement: First solo flight. Allen owns a 2008 Champ, and is going for his private pilot's license. He lives near Guthrie Center.
Craig Freeman

Achievement: Passed his checkride, after a mere 42 hours of flying time!! Craig started in the Champ and then switched to the Archer. He is the Director of Radiology at Boone County Hospital.
